"Hola,I am retired but not tired teacher native from Puerto Rico. Teaching and learning are my passion.

I worked with the public schools system for 32 years. Graduated from NYU with a Master degree in Educational Psychology. I am not only a native Spanish speaker but I also have the college education in my mother tongue. I studied in Spain at Universidad Complutense where gained a graduate certificate in Spanish children Literature. Also have 12 graduate credits in Spanish Literature from UConn.I hold the Connecticut certification as a World Language instructor and had worked with all levels from pre-school to college. I am also certified as a Special education teacher and worked with students with special needs, Spanish and English speakers.

Life has many challenges,but learning a second language broadens our opportunities and makea our lives easier. Besides that learning about other culture spice your life.
