A great tutor is not only experienced, but has credentials to support. I received a bachelors from UCLA and graduated with a masters degree in biomedical engineering (BME) at Johns Hopkins University, the No. 1 ranked BME graduate program in the nation by ‘US News’. My education extends to general applied mathematics and multivariable calculus. I have over five years of STEM tutoring experience. I taught biology, chemistry, but I specialize in mathematics instruction. I love to teach math and help students unlock their full intellectual potential. I thrive being able to take complex math concepts and simplifying them with tips to help students understand the concepts better.

Since my undergraduate studies, I have tutored middle school and high school students in mathematics. I worked with students in one-on-one situations and adapt my teaching strategies with every student. I have tutored Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra 2, Elementary Math, Pre-algebra, and Pre-Calculus. My goal is to help students understand the material and not just finish an assignment. I believe every student can succeed in math with the proper guidance. I try to be approachable and down to earth so students are welcome to ask a question and clarify answers.
