"I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Technology with a minor in Computer Science at Texas A&M University, where I’ve built a strong foundation in programming, problem-solving, and data analysis. Through coursework in Python, HTML web development, and SQL, along with certifications in progress such as AWS Cloud Practitioner and Python for Data Science, I’ve gained both technical skills and the confidence to explain concepts in a clear and approachable way. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple steps, something that has helped me both in school projects and while mentoring peers.
My teaching and tutoring style has grown naturally from hands-on experience. As a Junior Software Developer Intern, I worked on real-world projects like designing phone systems and improving CRM processes, where I often had to explain technical details to teammates who weren’t as comfortable with code. I’ve also competed in team-based programming contests, which sharpened my ability to think quickly and collaborate under pressure. Beyond academics, I’ve held leadership roles, including serving as Social Chair at Texas A&M University at Galveston, where I coordinated events for hundreds of students. These roles taught me patience, communication, and how to connect with people of different backgrounds and skill levels.
I’ve guided younger students and peers, particularly in engineering organizations, where I mentored freshmen and introduced them to coding and problem-solving opportunities. Whether it’s one-on-one support, small group tutoring, or helping a team through a challenge, I aim to make learning both fun and practical. With experience teaching peers across high school and college levels, and comfort working with students from beginner to more advanced levels, I focus on encouragement, building confidence, and showing students that every problem has a solution if we approach it step by step." less...
