I am a dual licensed elementary and special education teacher who believes every student has the ability to learn in their own way! I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Western Governors University. This degree allows me to be dual licensed in special education k-12 in the general curriculum, and elementary k-6. I recently obtained my Master of Education in Learning and Technology, further broadening my expertise. This makes me a valuable educator and tutor.

I have devoted my life to educating children! This has included being a stay at home parent, teaching preschool, transitional kindergarten, and working as the preschool director for a local church. My classroom experience includes all elementary grades including students with IEPs, and middle school special education. I am deeply passionate about teaching children and would love the opportunity to tutor you child.

I have experience teaching math to students from toddlers through 6th grade! I enjoy math and love finding hands on ways to help students understand and enjoy math.

I have the Hill Center Strategies for Reading certificate which has prepared me to teach and tutor children in reading skills to become more proficient readers.

Teaching and tutoring is important to me because it allows me to shape the mind of a child and to have a positive impact in their life. Teaching is vital for the success of each student’s life!
