"Good day! I am a certified teacher and I hold a dual certification. Basically, that means that I am certified to teach from Grades 1 - Grade 8 (any subject) and Grades 7 - 12 (Math). I also hold a Master's Degree as a Math Specialist. Needless to say, I really like Math. I started teaching before Common Core and transitioned with every parent from traditional to the common core. I believe this gives me a great understanding of the frustration some parents and students can feel about "new" math.
