"I began teaching and tutoring math when I was in high school during the summer months as a job for the local adult center. After graduating high school, I then went on to get my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (2010), at the University of South Carolina. I continued tutoring college level math after college, while working as a Manufacturing Engineer for a manufacturing company.

Throughout my experiences as a tutor, I have worked with students one-on-one because every student develops on a different learning curve. This is why the tutoring process is so crucial. Working individually with a student can help them overcome some of the frustration and confusion that comes along with learning in a classroom setting. I have a great amount of patience and understanding to help each student develop his or her own learning style and guiding them through the problems at his or her own pace to ensure that they understands the material. Learning is a step by step process and I believe that by presenting multiple ways to approach a problem, every student can find a method that works for them.

I have knowledge of a wide range of mathematics, science and engineering. I have tutored students in Basic and College Level Math, Pre Algebra, Algebra, Algebra I & II, Trigonometry & Calculus, Business Math.

Every student should be allowed the resources and have opportunity to achieve their goals. I am here to help students who have had difficulty with math, and feel confident in abilities in math.
