"I'm Raushan. I graduated with a PhD degree in Biochemistry (GPA 3.95) from North Dakota State University, Fargo (USA). I have completed 8 years of postdoctoral fellowship in Biochemistry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School (Worcester) and the University of Utah School of Medicine (Salt Lake City). I have published 14 research papers in reputed journals, namely, Biochemistry, Chemical Communication, JBC, Cell Reports, and eLife, in the area of Chemistry and Biochemistry. I am also a recipient of the prestigious postdoctoral fellowship from the American Heart Association.

I was fortunate to have inspiring teachers/professors in my high school and college who were actively engaged and passionate about their student success. Those years were truly enjoyable for me, and I had a great learning experience. I strive to offer the same learning opportunity to my students. I have taught basic and advanced courses in Biochemistry, Biology, and Chemistry to high school and college students for over 15 years, both in a classroom setting (class size 20-40) as well as a personalized one-on-one tutor. I am a passionate teacher and a research scientist (currently employed in a pharmaceutical company). I feel a great sense of gratification when my students succeed in their classroom and beyond. Most of my students whom I have taught in the past are physician, dentist, attorney, social workers, and scientists.

In the course of my teaching career, I have learned that every student has a unique need. As as a teacher, I developed the skill to recognize and fulfill it.
