"Education: I received my Master of Professional Studies in Homeland security from Tulane University in 2012 and served as Air Quality SME for the Deepwater Horizon Study Group at the University of California at Berkeley during the BP Oil Spill. I received my Master of Science in Environmental chemistry from Southern University in Baton Rouge as a NASA Fellow at the Stennis Space Center in 2000. I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemical engineering from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1970.

Teaching experience: I have over 10 years of experience in teaching university students and representatives of industry topics in chemistry, emergency response, port security, pipeline safety, and chemical detection to provide chemical security and comply with RCRA, OSHA, and CERLA regulations. Since 1992 I have taught university students and industry how to develop environmental emergency response solutions and online emergency response training.
