"My name is Brian . I am 33 years old and live in the Chicago-land area.

I began tutoring computer science and mathematics at a community college when I was 28 and I still love it! My goal as a tutor is to teach students how to solve the immediate problem at hand as well as how to solve similar problems independently in the future. I enjoy problem solving and I also enjoy talking to other curious computer geeks and math nerds.

I see each student as a unique challenge. One of my strengths is being able to break down complex topics using simple examples. I will always find multiple ways to explain a given concept. I believe that mastery of a given subject is 10% natural ability and 90% discipline.

I am comfortable with both Linux and Windows operating systems. I know Python, C++, Java and Bash languages.
