"Dear Students
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a concentration in Pre-Medicine, and I am currently pursuing dual Master’s degrees in Teaching and Engineering. With over twenty years of teaching and tutoring experience, I have worked with students at both the secondary and university levels, offering instruction in a wide range of STEM subjects. My expertise includes Biology, General and Organic Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, Physics, as well as a comprehensive group of mathematics courses: Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, II, III (Multivariable Calculus), and Differential Equations. I also support students enrolled in advanced coursework, including AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and AP Calculus.
My tutoring approach is rooted in a clear, structured pedagogy that emphasizes conceptual understanding and active learning. I adapt instructional methods to each student’s individual learning style and academic context, prioritizing clarity, logical progression, and the development of critical thinking skills. By breaking complex topics into manageable components and encouraging analytical reasoning, I aim to empower students to independently apply concepts and solve problems across disciplines. Whether working with a high school student mastering algebraic principles or a university student navigating multivariable calculus or organic chemistry, my goal is to foster both immediate academic success and long-term intellectual growth.
My teaching philosophy centers on elucidating complex scientific and mathematical concepts with clarity and precision, allowing students to develop authentic understanding and confidence. I strive to cultivate critical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills, empowering learners to overcome academic challenges while fostering appreciation for the inherent logic and elegance of science and mathematics." less...
