"I studied Mathematics at the University of Utah (as well as Business Finance and Russian Linguistics). I offer a unique approach to mathematics that is relatable and easy to understand. I believe many professors forget how simple math can be and can easily leave students feeling lost. This usually happens when they use what I call Nerd Speak.

I focus a lot on methodology. My general belief is that when you understand what a problem means, the "how-to" part is actually quite simple. I use real world examples to help relate math concepts to stuff that you will likely use in your life, and in many cases you already are.

Many people are good with math. Many are good with people. Few are good with both. I have more than 10 years experience tutoring high school and college level math classes, including many upper-division college courses. I also have experience helping students prepare for college entrance exams as well as graduate school quantitative test sections. I also work in sales related fields, and have owned several businesses. I get how people work and can make math not only interesting, but fun.
