"I love to work one on one with a student to help them learn! I discovered when I was in high school that I loved learning and speaking Spanish. I also really enjoy younger kids and helping them to come to understand something that didn't make sense before.

For Spanish students, you should know that I took up through Spanish 4 in high school, studied extra and got a 5 on the AP Spanish exam. I was able to turn that into college credit and took additional courses in college to get a Spanish teaching certification. I have been able to spend time in Honduras, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, and continue to look for every opportunity to use Spanish. For parents looking for a tutor for math, grammar, reading, or spelling for your younger student, you should know that I have homeschooled my four children in these subject areas in grades PreK through 7th for 11 years.
