"I graduated magna cum laude from the Berklee College of Music. I teach electric and acoustic guitar, with styles ranging from rock, blues, funk, classical, pop, flamenco, slide guitar, jazz, finger picking, rhythm, lead, and more. At Berklee I took as many classes in different guitar styles as possible so I could be prepared to teach whatever my students were interested in. This included both style classes and labs that focused on the styles of individual guitarists, including Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and Jeff Beck. I customize my lessons to each students individual interests and goals, so I can get them where they want to go in a way as enjoyable to them as possible. Music is a wonderful gift that I'm happy to share with as many people as possible. I've been told that my enthusiasm for guitar is contageous with my students.

I started teaching private guitar lessons as early as my junior year of highschool, and continued into my time in college. After graduating, I began teaching group classes for the Reading School of Guitar outside of Boston. I taught both group and occasional private lessons while there, and used my experience to help build the curriculum. After a little under two years of helping to build the Reading School of Guitar's business, I moved back to my home area in western Massachusetts to pursue my own private guitar lesson teaching again. I'm extremely excited to be building my own guitar lesson business after my range of experiences, and hope to bring all of my experiences together to make it as rewarding as possible for my students. I can help with a wide range of my students goals from helping with college prep and auditions, to enhancing their already existing skills, or helping someone new to guitar get to a point where they can play along with their favorite songs, or even write their own.
