"Hello! My name is Rhiannon, and I am an undergraduate student working towards an English and Creative Writing degree. I have three years of experience as an on-campus tutor for English and Creative Writing, working in a one-on-one setting with students to help develop their skills, ranging from ages of 17-20. I have also worked with students who were recommended to me by their Professor.

My experience as a student has exposed me to a wide variety of writing formats and techniques. I have experience with writing creative works, both fiction and nonfiction, and applying long-term research into writing. Given my prior experience with biological sciences as well as my writing, I am also familiar with various forms of analytical essays. My work as a tutor has given me experience in how to best help students approach both analytical and creative works. I typically use the approach of reading the provided work aloud back to the student, allowing them to hear it in a voice not their own, before working with them on editing and possible suggestions that may help them create a more thoughtful, well-rounded work.
