"Hello! I’m Dr. Zama D., an experienced educator, writer, and media scholar with a passion for helping students succeed. I hold a PhD in Film and Television from UCLA and a Master’s degree in African Literature and Media Studies. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve taught and mentored students across a range of subjects including English, writing, Film & Media studies, essay development, critical thinking, and academic research. In addition to teaching undergraduate studies, I have also tutored elementary students in Math and English.
