"I am Andrea, a proud 1987 graduate of Alabama State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. After a rewarding thirty-six-year career, including thirty-three years in leadership positions at both the state and federal levels of government, I have transitioned into a role that allows me to give back in a meaningful way. My passion lies in coaching, tutoring, and mentoring young people and young adults to help them build confidence, find their voice, and excel in every area of life. Although I have never taught in a formal classroom, I have spent many years serving in volunteer capacities through my sorority, college alumni association, and church. These experiences have provided opportunities to guide students and emerging leaders in developing communication skills, academic discipline, and personal growth. Each experience reaffirmed my belief that when young people are encouraged and supported, they can rise to their highest potential.

My coaching and tutoring focus includes English, writing, reading, spelling, and public speaking. I take a coaching-centered approach that emphasizes encouragement, accountability, and self-awareness. I aim to help students strengthen their comprehension and writing abilities, build strong study habits, and express themselves with clarity and confidence in both written and spoken communication.

My mission is to make a lasting impact by helping students believe in themselves, perform with purpose, and pursue excellence with passion.
