"I enjoy working with all levels of students students to help them improve their Math and English skills. I teach 6th and 7th grade math at a highly diverse middle school and work with students at all levels (advanced to special ed). Their English proficiency levels vary. I also host many foreign students and business people to help them perfect their conversational English and learn about American culture and expressions.

We will work on any Math or English areas that you would like. For math, we will work on basic skills such as multiplying and dividing, and can move on to more advanced topics of fractions, decimals, percents, probability, etc including word problems. For English, we can work on grammar, writing skills, reading, and conversation. Conversational topics can be related to everyday life, current events, your area of interest or business. My teaching style is relaxed and we will have interesting conversations that are geared toward the areas that you want to focus on. Most importantly, learning will be fun.
