"I spent 9 years learning German and 3 years living in Germany. I graduated from Heidelberg University with a Bachelor's of Arts in German and minors in International Relations and Religion. I am currently pursuing a masters degree at Covenant Theological Seminary.

I have experience tutoring German and English as a tandem partner with people who had English as a second language. In the past I have helped teach bible studies to elementary and college aged students. I enjoy helping people solidify their skills in language learning and teaching about the history and context of biblical times.

I have spent multiple semesters as a tandem partner for students who are learning English. I have experience editing and proofreading papers written in English for international college students. I like to tutor vocabulary using mnemonic devices and experiences that can be paired with words.

I can speak German fluently after having studied it for 9 years and living in Germany for 3 years. I enjoy helping people who are new to learning German have a solid foundation that they can build off of for conversational or academic purposes. I've done research and written papers in German while studying for my undergraduate degree. I also enjoy incorporating information about German culture and history into language lessons.

One of my minors from university is in religion. I've studied the Bible extensively and I am currently continuing my education in seminary to become a pastor. In the past I have lead Bible studies, conducted devotions, and given presentations on biblical content in English and German. I enjoy teaching from the Bible and analyzing how it's lessons can be applied to modern life.
