"I hold a BS in Physics from Brigham Young University with a math minor, a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, and a Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University. Since graduating, I've worked as a postdoc at BYU and two national laboratories, and published papers in which applying math was a central component.

I've taught multiple calculus recitation sections (medium sized class) at Purdue, taught an acoustics class for non-Physics majors at Brigham Young University (very large class), tutored as part of tutorial labs at both Brigham Young University (where I covered the entire upper division undergraduate math core) and Purdue University, and tutored private students at both schools. Most of my students have been college-aged, with a few younger.
