Making sure that students understand how this country started, how it has evolved, where it is now, and what the future might look like makes teaching a challenge.

Being able to teach the era that I have lived through has been the fun part of teaching for me, as I can literally expain the things that I have seen and experienced in life.

I believe my years of teaching at the middle school and high school level, and my knowledge of history have allowed me to continue to learn and grow in the subjects that I have taught. In addition to Advanced Placement United States History, I have taught World History to 1500 and from 1500, government, courses on World War II and the Civil War. I have had graduate classes dealing with "The President and the Media" and "School Law"
