I was a Microbiology Lab instructor for 2.5 years where I solidified my communication skills and mastery of all things micro. Also, and most importantly, I have read a large amount of primary literature, giving me the unique ability to comprehend some of the most difficult topics in modern biological research. I have also completed and received a grade of A in the following graduate level courses: Diagnostic Parasitology, Research Methods, Immunology, Cancer Biology, Biometrics, Ethical Issues in Biology, Microbial Physiology and Genetics, as well as seminar and individual study courses. As a graduate student I have been exposed to a vast array scientific techniques including but not limited to: Flow cytometry, gel electrophoresis, northern blots, southern blots , western blots, ELISA, PCR, chromatography, mammalian cell culture, bacterial cell culture, aseptic techniques, and basic laboratory skills.

I am a native Spanish speaker and have been speaking Spanish fluently since the age of 5.

During my preparation for the MCAT, I read an insane amount of passages. I will be happy to read through Psych/Soc passages together and Bio Passages.
