I am a lifelong learner who loves to teach. My last degree was a master's in education, October 2024. I have a post-baccalaureate in Spanish from the University of Washington. Studies abroad in various countries have helped connect cultural understandings of language with grammar and spoken Spanish.

I have spent a significant amount of time along the Pacific and Atlantic coasts of Mexico. This has included the ability to live in a home in Yelapa, Mexico and read to children in Spanish, in the library. I have had the luck to travel to many other Spanish speaking countries. Education includes Montessori training for Adolescents from Houston Montessori Center and I have taught in both public and private schools over the last twenty plus years.
