"I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in Special Education, and I am currently completing my Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on Special Education. I am a licensed Special Education teacher with endorsements in Secondary English, Algebra I, Geometry, and ESOL, allowing me to support a wide range of learners across content areas. My graduate training emphasized evidence-based practices, differentiated instruction, and academic interventions for students with diverse learning needs. My undergraduate degree is in Communications, which helped shape my strengths in clear, effective instruction and student engagement.

I have several years of experience teaching high school students in both inclusion and resource settings. As an Inclusion Teacher, I collaborate with general education teachers to provide in-class support, while also offering targeted small-group and one-on-one instruction for students with IEPs. My tutoring and teaching approach is grounded in relationship-building, scaffolded instruction, and structured support.
