"Hi, I’m Ethan! I’m an incoming medical student and currently work as a Critical Care EMT with Life Flight Mercy.

I completed my Bachelor’s in Biology with a Chemistry minor at Case Western Reserve University, where I was honored with distinctions such as the Dean’s High Honor and Ford Scholars Award. Throughout undergrad, I found that learning felt most meaningful when I could share it with others.

I’ve spent the past five years tutoring students in a range of subjects from biology. interviewing, to test prep, and have developed a strong ability to break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps. Beyond academic tutoring, I also became an NREMT instructor where I taught over 100 students the skills, clinical reasoning, and confidence needed to earn their certification and succeed in the field.

These experiences shape my approach as a tutor: learning should be collaborative, personalized, and empowering. I don’t lecture. I work with you to identify what’s confusing, break down tough concepts into clear, manageable steps, and help you build both mastery and confidence. Whether it’s a biochemistry or a new clinical skill, my goal is always to help you reach that “aha!” moment.

My schedule is flexible as I prepare to start medical school, so I’m happy to accommodate most time slots.
