Hello! I'm Hafsa and I am a rising sophomore at Rutgers University, New Brunswick School of Engineering, majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering. I live in Wayne, NJ and dorm in Piscataway, NJ during the fall and spring semesters.
I recently received an A in Calculus 2 for the Mathematical and Physical Sciences, a notoriously difficult class. I kept neat notes for the class, and reached a strong understanding of each topic. I took AP Calculus AB in high school and got a 4 on the AP exam and only could not take AP Calculus BC because I did not attend the same district in middle school, where they had a head-start on the advanced math curriculum. I also took Calculus I for Math/Phys at Rutgers in Fall 2024. I will be taking Multivariable Calculus this upcoming fall, and Differential Equations after that, so I will be upholding my math background.
As for English, I received a 5 on the AP English Language exam and a 4 on the AP English Literature exam in high school, and was an honors English student all four years. Thanks to my exceptional English teachers from high school, I have compiled an excellent list of writing techniques that can easily enhance any student's writing.
When I understand and enjoy something, I have the bursting urge to teach it to others! I believe everyone remains capable of *anything*, so long as they try and receive the correct guidance. I have tutored family friends and volunteered to tutor elementary schoolers in my local public library. I am hoping to teach higher level students one-on-one how entertaining challenging subjects can be.
Feel free to reach out to me with any questions!" less...
