"With over five years of teaching and research experience, I have developed and implemented One Health case study classes for graduate and medical students, advised on civil legislation in One Health and public health matters, and contributed to the development and validation of multiplex immunoassays for assessing vaccine efficacy and seroprevalence in diverse populations. I am passionate about advancing the interdisciplinary fields of biology, microbiology, One Health, and public health, and empowering the next generation of health professionals and leaders.

I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of Vermont, where I taught Advanced Biology to first year students. I hold a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and I have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Hawaii, where I taught graduate and medical courses in microbiology, immunology, parasitology, bacteriology, virology, and public health.
