I’m Sara! I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education (Elementary/Middle) along with Master’s Degree in Teaching At-Risk Students. In addition, I have a certification in Reading.

During my teaching career, I have worked in a wide variety of educational settings with students with various disabilities at multiple levels. Additionally, I have worked with general education students in a variety of settings. Throughout that time, I have developed multi-sensory lesson plans to meet the needs of auditory, visual, tactile, and kinesthetic learners and incorporated various forms of technology, learning centers, and manipulatives to teach new concepts. My skills in differentiated instruction, assistive technology, and multi-sensory lesson planning allow me to meet the needs of every student. I am experienced in conducting day-to-day classroom curriculum activities, holding parent/guardian meetings, and coordinating with co-worker and other educational professionals.

It is my goal to combine my range of experience and leadership skills along with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution.
