"Hello there! With over 20 years of experience in the field of education, I have filled many roles as a teacher, mentor, and advisor. I believe that building positive teacher-student relationships makes all the difference. I aim to both educate and inspire while assisting clients in reaching their goals and full potential. I have worked with students from a variety of backgrounds and have experience in teaching English and language arts, English as a second language, social studies, and have acted as a gifted specialist. I am currently working on my MFA in creative writing with a certificate in narrative healthcare.

As reading and writing are my passions, I make an excellent tutor in English/language arts. With my experience and dedication, I am confident that I can reach and encourage my students to do their best!! I am certified as a teacher in both North Carolina and Florida in the areas of English/language arts, ESOL, social studies, and gifted education.
