"I hold a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of Maryland and have earned several certifications that enhance my teaching capabilities, including Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), TESOL certification, and Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia Specialist certification. Currently, I am pursuing additional certifications as a Certified Autism Specialist (CAS) and a Certified Special Education Teacher (CSET).

Since August 2023, I have been working as a tutor for Varsity Tutors, and since May 2023, I have been with Amplify. In these roles, I tutor students aged 6-15 in subjects such as English Language Arts (ELA), Orton-Gillingham reading, conversational Spanish writing, and elementary/middle school mathematics.

Additionally, I tutor adult English as a Second Language (ESL) and conversational Spanish for adults. With over 8 years of teaching experience, I have worked with a wide range of students in various educational contexts, including one-on-one lessons online and in person and tutoring in private homes. Prior to the pandemic and throughout it, I tutored privately for multiple families in the D.C. area, focusing mainly on students aged 6-9 in ELA and elementary mathematics.
