"I'm Austin, a Bible translation consultant with Wycliffe Bible Translators. I've been in the ministry of Bible teaching, linguistics, and the Biblical languages for over ten years, specializing in Greek grammar, syntax, semantics, and applied translation theory. I did my Masters in Theological Studies with and emphasis in the Biblical languages through Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.

I have typically mentored and tutored those who want to go beyond beginning Greek grammar (with its emphasis of morphology) into deeper Greek studies which have major interpretive impact and significance. It's been said before, but nothing is more harmful than a student or pastor with a year of Greek under their belt. Biblical Greek is much more than the simplistic parsing of verbal forms. Our goal will be to dive deep into the text of the New Testament alongside of linguistic theory to know God's word better, as well as its ultimate Author.

There are a several ways we can go about this, and my curriculum is always catered for the individual. In terms of Intermediate Grammar, I have done a syntactic grammar approach, where we read either Wallace's Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics or Merkle and Köstenberger's Going Deeper with New Testament Greek with accompanying exercises. I've also done a heavy text-emphasis approach, where we work through graded readers in gradual translation difficulty. Alternatively we can work through whatever area of the New Testament you have particular interest in.

In terms of Advanced level Biblical Greek, there are a variety of books and articles on subjects like discourse analysis, idiolect/dialect, advanced studies in aspect, and LXX translation.
