"I'm a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, and board-eligible in Critical Care Medicine, currently completing a Sleep Medicine fellowship at the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC). My training path took me through residency at Norwalk Hospital, a Yale-affiliated program, followed by a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) fellowship at Yale.

Teaching has been a constant throughout my career. During training, I taught medical students, residents, and fellows, and served as faculty for the University of Vermont (UVM), Ross University, and American University of Antigua (AUA). As chief pulmonary fellow, I built the academic schedule and didactic curriculum for the entire fellows' cohort — organizing grand rounds, selecting physiology lectures, and coordinating speakers. That work was recognized with a Teaching Fellow of the Year award, but more meaningful to me has been the mentorship that came alongside it: helping medical students secure residency positions, and guiding residents through matching into PCCM fellowships of their own.

I bring that same approach to tutoring. I hold students accountable to a study plan rather than letting sessions drift, and I prepare thoroughly for every lesson — reviewing the subject matter in advance so our time together is focused and efficient rather than spent figuring things out on the fly. I also provide organized notes after each session so students have something concrete to review and build on between meetings.

Having gone through Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, and Critical Care board exams myself, I know firsthand what separates efficient prep from wasted effort, and I want to help my students find that same efficiency." less...
