"Hi! My name is Dr. Colin, and I am a classical saxophonist and educator. I've been all over the world performing and teaching saxophone, and have a number of competition prizes to my name. Additionally, I graduated from the Eastman School of Music with my DMA in Saxophone and Music Theory pedagogy, giving me the background to teach other disciplines such as theory, ear training, and music history. I used to work as a professor at a university in western New York, and I'm excited to be able to work with you!

As a saxophone teacher, I am focused on giving my students a solid fundamental foundation, as well as growing their individual musicianship. In high school, I won numerous all-state and all-area band auditions, and I look forward to imparting my strategies on auditions and competitions to my students. While I had great success in playing the saxophone growing up, I struggled with music theory and ear training, and have since been impassioned to help students succeed in those areas too.
