"I am Amjad, and I am a graduate of Al-Quds University School of Medicine. I made the decision to pursue residency in the United States after graduation in 2016. I was initially overwhelmed by the whole process of taking a lot of examinations and applying for residency. It all started back in July of 2016 during my internship back home. My friend and I went through the whole process of taking the step 1, CK, CS and 3 in one year. As much as I do not want time to go back, I miss those days. What a journey it turned out to be. I am now a first year neurology resident at the University of Iowa – a dream come true."
