"Dear students,

My name is Isra and I am currently in my junior year studying physics at university. Due to my major, I have a lot of knowledge in both physics and mathematics. I am most comfortable teaching STEM subjects like basic physics and certain mathematical courses, including algebras one and two, and calculus one and two. I have taken numerous math and physics courses and can help you with your own physics and math needs!

I also have two minors; one completed, and one in the works. I have recently finished my creative writing minor, and am currently working on a nuclear engineering one as well. Due to the former, I am also very interested in helping individuals with their writing, both essay and prose. If you need assistance with writing essays, grammar rules, or reading comprehension, I would love to help.

My main tutoring tactics are explanations and practice problems. I believe that practicing the same sorts of things, with help, strengthens individuals' skills. I tend to feel that walking students through problems slowly, then giving them the opportunity to attempt these problems on their own, ends up giving the best results! Historically, I have worked with both children and teenagers, as well as adults, and have found that each age group responds to different tactics. I tend to mold my tutoring skills to uniquely assist each student to the best of my ability.

Some credentials I have are graduating high school at the top of my class, with a 4.5 GPA, Valedictorian status, and making the honor roll every semester. I have also made the Dean's list every semester so far in my undergraduate career. As well as this, I have officially-published writing, and my own STEM research projects in both biology and nuclear physics.
