"My name is Amy, I am also a current student attending graduate school at FIU! Education has proven itself key towards upward mobility in my life, as a foster kid in highschool, I realized at a young age that my only way out of my circumstances and situation was to obtain and maintain good grades, so that I might get to college, in hopes of pursuing further opportunities that could sustain me. I would grow to realize that my grades were one of the few things that I was exclusively in control of at the time, despite many external circumstances acting as set-backs.

I am now proud to say I have two undergraduate degrees under my belt and am pursuing my first masters as of now! Specializing in Behavioral Science for my first undergraduate, I worked at USF’s Students With Disabilities Office, where I started as a student proctor and eventually got promoted to assistant coordinator for the blind and asd communities! From there I have offered behavioral, educational, and motivational help to students in both a in-person elementary school setting and tutoring settings, with experience in online and in-person!

I am the eldest of 5, with 4 younger siblings, ages 4-15, I have my hands full in my family! Therefore, my experience personally, and professionally, is of all ages. I have professionally worked with as young as 1-2 and all the way up to highschool level. I have helped many a friend in my time at university as well, which technically gives me some adult and college-aged experience as well.
