"Hello! I've been tutoring STEM subjects since middle school, and find that I have a real passion for helping my peers. I currently work as a part-time nanny, and I find helping the children I work with learn to successfully navigate their course load to be incredibly rewarding! I'm a full-time student majoring in biology, and at the moment I hold a strong 3.9 GPA! I feel the key to this is time management, and sitting with what you don't know, and not letting it overwhelm you!

I love being able to teach people how to process something different from how it was taught to them. In my freshman year of college, I was thrown into an advanced chemistry course with no prior knowledge of chemistry. It was a nightmare, and I felt nothing I did was good enough. I ended up dropping the course and spent the summer teaching myself the syllabus. When going through the material I realized all the letters didn't need to be scary, so long as you treated it like algebra! I ended up retaking general chemistry, and completing the sequence all the way to organic chemistry with grades of A- or better!

My point is, nothing is impossible, and sometimes all it takes is a little reframing, and I would love to assist you in your journey doing so!

I have a true passion for math, and I feel this started at a young age! My mother is an accountant, and she introduced math in a way that made it fun and always made sure to explain how it was applicable to real life. I feel that due to my strong foundation and general excitement, I'm a great math tutor! I enjoy making "boring" subjects fun!

I'm a biology major, and I find it to be the most fulfilling coursework I could possibly take. Biology is an all-encompassing science, that involves everything we do and everything we are. Given my degree, I do feel that I have a very strong amount of knowledge in this subject, and have tutored my peers and quite a few clients with great success.
