"Hello! My name is Natalia and I graduated from Columbia University in 2021 with a degree in Evolutionary Biology of the Human Species. I took two gap years where I worked as a research assistant for UPenn and NYU School of Medicine studying primatology, parasitology, and bacteriology. I am also a current third-year medical student with a full tuition ride at a Top 5 Medical School in the US.

I was accepted into 8 out of the 10 medical schools I interviewed at, and I scored in the 94th percentile in the MCAT. I have helped 100+ students edit and work on their medical and college applications/personal statements to gain acceptances into top medical schools and undergraduate universities such as Vanderbilt Med, Columbia Med, University of Pennsylvania, amongst others. I have also help students with interview prep for both undergraduate and medical school admissions.

I have been tutoring students in various subjects such as college test prep, admissions writing, biology, and anatomy for about 10 years now in organizations such as Interconnections Mentoring Program, Charles Drew Premedical Society, and Wyzant. I also served as a TA for two years in the Human Origins and Evolution course at Columbia University.

I received a 34 in the ACT (36 in Reading, 35 in English, 34 in Science, 29 in Math) and placed in the 99th percentile of test-takers. I usually help students improve their composite score by about 4-5 points; in the past, I have helped students raise their Reading scores from a 25 to 33 and Science scores from a 28 to 35. I really enjoy working with students and seeing their progression over time! It’s a very rewarding and fun experience to meet new students and work with them in their respective subjects.
