"I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University with both my Bachelor's and Master's in Operations Research and Information Engineering (which is a combination of applied math, statistics, and CS) in a total span of only 4 years. I have an informal teaching style and want to get to know my students and make them feel comfortable and interested in learning. I recently graduated from college, so I'm very approachable and understand what classes are like at the high school / college level and how to do well in them. I can also offer helpful tips on the college admissions process and overall studying / test taking techniques.

I've been teaching for over 12 years and have worked with students ranging from elementary to college level in a multitude of settings including volunteering, private tutoring, and as an undergraduate and graduate teaching assistant in college. I specialize in Math and Science subjects (Probability/Statistics, Algebra, Pre-algebra, Precalculus, Geometry, and Chemistry) as well as SAT/PSAT tutoring (specifically Math and Writing sections).

Currently, I work as a Senior Data Scientist at a Fortune 5 company and used to work as a management/strategy consultant for a top firm in NYC. I am also open to providing career advice/job prep for consulting and DS roles (case studies, what types of questions to expect at interviews and how to prepare etc) as well as college admissions advice (review/edit essays, how to build a well-rounded college application).

Additionally, I am comfortable and enjoy working with elementary and middle school age children as well.
