"With a BA in Neuroscience from Columbia University and an MS in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for biology with the college level and high school students I tutor. I offer a simplified approach to understanding complex topics in biology to help my students succeed!

I've spent the past 6 years in biotech and pharmaceutical companies working on developing immunotherapies for cancer, muscular dystrophy, obesity and more. I have spent these years applying the knowledge gained from the classroom to real-life situations and research experiments, and have seen impeccable results. For this reason I believe in visualization and practicality in the study of biology related subjects.

My tutoring approach adopts a visualization method. Be it through making sketches, diagrams, pictures, cartoons or bringing along a plastic model, I use visual aids to help my students get a clear mental picture of intricate biological concepts.

I understand that every student has a unique learning style and learning curves, and so I explain until it's clear. And I know it's clear when the student is able to explain a concept to me satisfactorily. I also encourage all questions to be asked during tutoring session as questions help point to where understanding is lacking, thereby leading the way to clearer and better understanding where needed.
