"Hi there, I'm Ava! I'm a senior at the Ivy League institution Columbia University, where I am studying Psychology and Statistics. I offer tutoring in Algebra I, ELA (K-12), Introductory Statistics, and Psychology.

My experience as a Teacher's Assistant in Columbia's Department of Psychology has equipped me with the skills to provide effective instruction in both large classroom settings and one-on-one sessions. During my high school years, I also spent three years as a volunteer Peer Tutor, assisting students in Algebra I, Algebra II, and ELA.

Tutoring is more than a passion of mine, and I am dedicated to seeing each of my students succeed. I believe in an individualized approach to teaching, as each student has unique interests and learning styles. Before our first session, I take the time to understand my students' interests and learning preferences to tailor our sessions accordingly.
