Both the SAT and the ACT have recently undergone changes that make them very different from the tests your parents may have taken. I'm a graduate of Wellesley College (undergrad) and Harvard University (masters), with an SAT of 780V/750M (on the old test) and a GRE score of 800V/770M (160/153 on the current scale). I've worked as a high school English teacher and a TA in political science and religion at the university level at the University of Cape Town.
