My name is Zane. I'm a current student of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Columbia University alumni. I graduated from Columbia with a 3.9 GPA, and made the Dean's list all 8 semesters. I scored 98th percentile on the MCAT!

I love helping students with the pre-med process/studying for the MCAT. I've designed a foolproof MCAT & pre-med guide and will share it with the students that I tutor. It helped me score 98th percentile on the MCAT and get interviews at schools like Johns Hopkins, Mount Sinai, Washington Uni, Dartmouth, Boston Uni, and more!

I also had to figure out the college admissions process on my own. After doing it myself and spending 4 years at a top university, I know what the admissions offices are looking for. I can look at your application and give suggestions, edit essays, or do anything to assist with the process.

I can also do subject tutoring! I'm comfortable teaching K-12 math, reading, and sciences. My method has been foolproof so far, with students seeing an immediate increase in their grades. I like to tear apart the subject you're struggling with, starting with the very basics and making sure the foundation is solid. Then we add more difficult layers until we reach the goal you're looking for! A lot of issues in learning come from a weak foundation. For example, recently with a geometry student, I made her a packet with the simplest questions and challenged her to do them on her own so I could see what she struggled with. I then create a lesson plan based on that information.
