"I am currently a student at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania studying finance and management from Long Island, NY. Tutoring for me has always been about ensuring personal development and incremental steps towards success. In classes with over 20 students of varying learning styles and abilities, a teacher can be greatly restrained in their resources to ensure that each and every one of their students understands the material. I understand that each student is different, and always tailor my instruction to help render the best results possible for each individual student. I focus on making the most of our time together: preparing materials beforehand, working together on problems and concepts of difficulty, and making next steps to make sure we stay on track to meet your academic goals. While I am more than willing to work under time constraints, I seek to ensure that my students are developing a deep conceptual understanding of the material rather than simply preparing for the next exam.

During high school, I was fortunate to be named valedictorian of my high school class and was fortunate to receive awards for my performance in mathematics, science, and business. Throughout high school, I served as a tutor at my cultural organization for classes of 5-10 students in mathematics and test preparation. Additionally, over the past three years, I have been serving as a private tutor for 20+ high school students of all academic backgrounds and learning styles for a total of 200+ hours. As a tutor, I have a deep passion for math, science, and economics and truly enjoy spending time with students to help them have their light-bulb moments. Seeing students gradually develop greater confidence in their own abilities and develop better learning habits is what I strive to do in each and every tutoring session.
