"Hi! My name is Edith and I would love to be your tutor.

A little about me: in 2019 I graduated magna cum laude with a BA in literature from Harvard University, and in 2023 I earned my Master’s degree in Writing from UT Austin. I’ve been tutoring high school and college students in one-on-one and small group settings since 2016. One of my core specialties is writing coaching, and I’ve worked with students on everything from college and graduate school application essays to creative writing portfolios. In addition, having earned a perfect score on the SAT in high school, I also specialize in standardized test preparation and have worked with a number of students to conquer the SAT.

To me, the key to learning is joy. In my own learning journey, I’ve been motivated above all by the joy of discovery and achievement. By far, the most meaningful part of my work as a tutor has been assisting students to find joy, purpose, and confidence in their own learning. As far as my tutoring approach, I believe in the importance of listening to each student and tailoring a flexible plan to respond to your needs.
