"I'm Alexandra! I graduated with a BA in Economics with Honors and a minor in Consumer Psychology from UPenn. Additionally, I received a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Miami. Further, I hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and spent over ten years working in public accounting in Transfer Pricing and M&A Tax at the Big 4 in New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Miami.

My favorite professors and mentors were always those who were engaging, explained concepts clearly, provided concrete examples, and offered constructive feedback. This is how I approach tutoring. I've tutored for economics, accounting, tax, and CPA exam students and I've also been a volunteer for several years with Junior Achievement where we teach financial literacy in the classroom. During my time in the Big 4, I also had experience with teaching concepts, teaching how to perform the work, and providing constructive feedback to the staff on the teams I managed.
