"My name is Pragat! I am a third year student at the University of Pennsylvania. I'm a dedicated college student with excellent critical thinking and passion for scientific research. Currently, I'm committed to pursuing neuroscience and bioengineering in the future. I have some experience tutoring privately amongst our local area alongside online tutoring with individuals across the country. I engage in teaching at my temple as well, leading weekly sessions highlighting spiritual ideologies alongside grounded life skills. I have experience in competitive mathematics and science with time spent researching at Johns Hopkins University.
What I love most about tutoring is that it isn't a one way exchange of information or learning. By teaching others, I embolden my skills as well and provide myself with confidence to continue this venture. It is important to understand this because tutoring isn't hierarchical, it is a communion of knowledge and understanding for all.
In terms of experience, I have received a 1570 on my SAT (800 Math/770 EBRW), 35 on my ACT, and many 5s on AP exams including Calculus AB, Calculus BC, English Language, and more. Besides receiving an 800 on my SAT Math Section, I have skipped three math levels since entering middle school and most recently finished Calculus BC (Calculus 2) in 11th grade. I like dabbling in different proof based mathematical phenomena while also grounding my knowledge in base rules. I served as the captain of my high school's math team for three years, leading almost 50 members week after week through each hurdle.
Feel free to contact me to discuss prices and qualifications! I am open to shifting my teaching style in any way possible so I come with open arms and I hope we have a connection in the future. Thank you." less...
