"Hi everyone! My name is Abhi, and I’m currently an 8th-year MD/PhD student at Mayo Clinic, applying for residency in Anesthesiology. I graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, where I also completed my premedical coursework. I scored a 525 on the MCAT and went on to serve three years as a Kaplan MCAT tutor, as well as three years as an online SAT/ACT tutor. During my time at Columbia, I also supported fellow students in STEM and pre-med courses like general chemistry, biology, biochemistry, and organic chemistry.

At Mayo Clinic, I’ve continued tutoring graduate-level coursework, including X-ray imaging physics, mathematics for engineers, and statistics. Beyond academics, I volunteer with the American Physician Scientist Association, where I help prospective MD/PhD students strengthen their applications and prepare for success in the program.

Having worked with hundreds of students over the years, I understand that every learner has their own unique style and perspective. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where each student can feel confident and empowered. I’m available to tutor middle/high school STEM courses, SAT, ACT, pre-medical courses, MCAT, USMLE, or medical school shelf exams.
