I am the Connection department chair, parent liaison. I also teach Public Speaking and Introduction to Computers at the technical college. I have created and conducted professional development for the middle school business teachers. I also serve on the school leadership team. I began my career as an educator in 1999, working as a Business Instructor. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Education from Alabama State University, my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Central Michigan University, and my Specialist’s degree in Teacher Leadership from Thomas University. I am a certified Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS).

In reaching the most challenging students, I can push them beyond their level of comfort and reach academic success.
