"Hello! My name is Ayumi, from Brazil.

I have 5 years of university level teaching experience (University of São Paulo and State University of São Paulo in Brazil, Jiangxi College of Foreign Studies in China).

I grew up speaking Japanese with my family, and use it in my work as a translator - in which I translate videos, anime, games, books, and other content from Japanese to Portuguese.

I also have been tutoring since my college years, and I love to help in the language learning journey, because I love languages and I am a language learner myself (proud polyglot!). I am especially good at teaching reading comprehension and kanji etymology.

I also have over a decade of tutoring experience helping students preparing for language examination, travel, work, hobby, learning Japanese for academic purposes, and as a heritage language.

My motto is that it should be fun!
