"Hello Everyone! I am guessing you came here to learn a little bit about me. Well good news for you, there is a lot to tell! Organic chemistry is now and will forever be my favorite subject in the world.

A little bit about my educational background. I first earned my associates degree at PBSC, followed by earning my B.S in Biochemistry at FAU, and afterwards continued on as a PhD candidate for a year under Dr. Lepore at FAU. A huge part of my education in organic chemistry was conducting undergraduate research under Dr. Lepore for two years.

In the lab, I am the lead PhD student on the development of anti-epileptic drug that is showing promising neuroprotective effects. Through my time as an undergraduate and graduate researcher, I have solidified my foundation on my understanding of organic chemistry. As an undergraduate, I was awarded "Most Outstanding Senior Undergraduate Organic Chemistry Student" by the American Chemical Society, which is only awarded to a few undergraduates in the entire country. My passion does extend past organic chemistry into biochemistry. I love bridging the gap between organic and biochemistry, and most likely will continue to work in drug discovery in the future.

In terms of tutoring, I have been tutoring and continue to tutor undergraduate/graduate level organic chemistry for 3 years, and over those 3 years, I have grown in my knowledge and communication when it comes to organic chemistry. I have taught all courses from Organic 1 all the way to Organic 4(which most don't know exist). I have tutored hundreds of undergraduates in Organic 1 and 2, and dozens of graduate students in Organic 3 and 4. I do pride myself in helping others truly understand organic chemistry and bridge the gap on understanding why what you are learning is important. I still continue to this day teaching General Chemistry 1 & 2 Lab, as well as Organic Chemistry Lab.
